Q: How is 0.5% ABV alcohol-free?

Yes, we know it's confusing. Isn't 0.5% ABV still alcoholic? Officially, 0.5% ABV is classified as Dealcoholised . In fact, most things we consume daily have more than 0.5% ABV Burger Rolls - 1.2% ABV Orange Juice - 0.5% ABV Ripe Banana - 0.5% ABV After more than 2 years of research, we've found that the 0.5% ABV from our natural brewing process significantly increases both flavour and mouthfeel - without spiking your blood alcohol level (BAC).

Q: Is it really gluten-free?

Yes, IMPOSSIBREW® Enhanced Lager is gluten-free. Even though it contains wheat and barley, our beers have been third-party tested to contain less than 10 parts per million (PPM) of gluten, which meets the criteria to be listed as, and labeled gluten-free.

Q: Who shouldn't drink IMPOSSIBREW®?

It is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women , those with certain medical conditions like GI disorders or hypertension , or individuals taking specific medications such as antidepressants, immunosuppressants or blood thinners . If you fall into any of these categories, it's best to consult with your doctor first. Ashwagandha can lead to overstimulation (i.e. restlessness) if taken alongside thyroid medication.

The lager taste like all non-alcohol lager like fizzy watery lager (not great). The hazy pale though is not too bad, i would recomend trying that. Not tried the IPA yet.

The material feels a bit thin otherwise a good fit

Tried both the lager and the hazy pale. Not impressed with either. Lager tasted like most alcohol free lagers.
The pale was better but the after taste was too strong and i felt a bit nauseous after them. Still had aftertaste despite cleaning teeth and using mouthwash the morning after. I didnt feel any noticeable relaxed feeling. Both felt like drinking flavoured water and not beer like. I couldn’t drink more than one in a session. They dont compare to Guiness zero which i can drink 3 on a night out. The IPA is the best tasting but theres this really stronng fruity aftertaste again. Shame only got two cans of this and 4 of others.
In short wont be buying again as overpriced. No relaxed feeling. IPA ok. Pale and Lager didnt enjoy one bit.

Product is marked large as ordered but unfortunately they arent sized correctly for UK. Its too tight compared to the many t-shirts I own in the large size.

So let’s face it the beer is at best mediocre - Aldi and Lidl own lagers are much better, the impossibrew lager is bland and a bit sweet. The pale is hazy but not hoppy and again a pretty bland beer (big drop or lucky saint or Adams ghost ship wipe the floor). They’re not *bad* they’re just not very good and very bland.

So what about the magic ingredient? Well the cans list ashwaganda which isn’t made clear in advance. For many this helps them unwind and is an anxiety reliever. My wife uses it a lot on tablets.

BUT BE WARNED For some ashwaganda *triggers* anxiety - I’ve tried it before and it did just that: anxiety, depression, insomnia. And impossibrew has done the same. See https://www.healthline.com/health/anxiety/can-ashwagandha-cause-anxiety#quick-answer for more.

So before you buy if recommend trying ashwaganda in tablet form to see how you react.

One-to-One Brewing Process: At IMPOSSIBREW, we take pride in our unique brewing techniques. Unlike other non-alcoholic beers, our products are never diluted, watered-down, or have their alcohol content removed - and some even dilute their alcoholic beers up to 5x. This means that our brewing process involves the same level of craftsmanship, time, and resources as a traditional craft beer, resulting in comparable production costs.
Effective Nootropics: In our commitment to creating the most relaxing non-alcoholic beers, we utilise only the highest quality nootropics as our active ingredients, in safe and effectives dosages. At current alcohol tax rates for a 5% ABV beer, the cost of our nootropics more than double that. Instead of contributing the amounts as tax, why not have it contribute to the product quality itself?
