Disappointed

I had really high hopes from the great reviews and from their brilliant marketing, however, upon consumption I was significantly let down. The pale is definitely the better out of the two, but still a pretty bland experience. The lager is very thin, lacks texture has no real definable taste beyond a vaguely lager-y undertone. I was unable to detect any affects of the compound that the drink is brewed with, no "buzz" or however it is referred to. Given the price is so high and the background of the development so proudly exclaimed to be why they are such a success story I was very disappointed with the product and have found tastier, more interest and cheaper alternatives to both the pale and lager. I purchased around a 30 can mix in 2 different boxes which was close to £80, with a free glass, I have drank them all, so they weren't repulsive, they were just insipid and plain.

I really wanted to like the product, but I am afraid I don't, my partner doesn't, and so far every other person that's tasted has had a similar reaction.

Fingers crossed this changes in time!

Good luck!

Wow

I brought the mix package to be healthy and dry during the work week but the football has made that difficult. But this stuff tastes like beer, both the lager and pale are exceptional, I don't think I'll bother buying anything else now even for the weekend

Yes, this one has some meat to it!

I find this has enough depth of flavour to be a good beer for taste on its own or for a session. I tend to find the lager a little bit lacking when I session on it. This triple hopped IPA builds on the pale which is between the two.

Triple Hop Is Juicy

This builds on the success so far and really takes the taste to a new level. I genuinely believe this tastes as good as an equivalent alcoholic ale. Really hoping this becomes generally available

Best so far

With the lager tasting thin , and the Pale Ale ok, but lacking, this IPA is the best beer so far. A thick taste from the oats and lactose which a lovely hop profile. A real shame this is only a limited edition. I would swap my Pale Ale subscription for this in a heartbeat!
